Cookie Policy

Legal document · Updated October 5, 2026

This page explains which cookies and similar tools we use www.marcobrustia.com, what they are used for, and how you can manage them, according to art. 122 of the Privacy Code and the Guarantor's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of June 10, 2021.

In short: The site uses only technical tools, for which consent is not required. Two third-party services—Metricool statistics and the Spotify podcast player—start only if you accept them from the banner that appears on the first visit. The banner closes with an X without accepting anything, and you can change your choices at any time from the button «"Cookie Preferences"» present on every page.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They help the website function, remember your preferences, or—in the case of profiling cookies—track your behavior. Similar technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, store information in your browser: we treat them in the same way.

2. Technical tools (no consent required)

Name Type What is it for? Duration
map_* banner technical cookies (My Agile Privacy) They remember the choices you made on the banner, service by service, the date of the choice and a random code that identifies it, so as not to repeat the banner on every page (see the list below the table) 6 months
mb-a11y localStorage Remembers the accessibility panel preferences (text size, contrast, etc.) Until you delete them
mb-wide localStorage Remember if you have chosen the full screen page Until you delete it
mbMusica localStorage Remembers whether you have the background music on or off Until you delete it
wpEmojiSettingsSupports sessionStorage Created by WordPress to check if the browser displays emojis Until the tab closes
logo_… localStorage In the pastry board configurator, save the logo you uploaded for the preview and the PDF Until you delete it
__telegram__initParams sessionStorage Created by Telegram script in the pastry board configurator Until the tab closes
wordpress_*, wp-settings-* technical cookies Only for those who access the site administration: if you are not the administrator, they do not concern you. Session / 1 year

The banner cookies are map_accepted_all_cookie_policy, map_accepted_something_cookie_policy, map_consent_status, map_last_c_m_date, map_user_uuid and a map_cookie_ for each service you accept or refuse.

3. Third-party services (only with your consent)

Service Where What does it do? Cookies / data Information
Metricool (Metricool Software SL, Spain) All pages Visit statistics Script tracker.metriol.com: sends page view, origin, and browser technical data; the country is derived from the IP address. According to Metricool, the script does not use cookies. metricool.com/privacy-policy
Spotify (Spotify AB, Sweden) Podcast Page Embedded podcast player sp_t (1 year), sp_landing (1 day) on the spotify.com domain; usage data sent to Spotify spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy

Until you give consent, instead of the Spotify player, you'll see a box with a "Load Spotify Player" button. Clicking it loads the player for that visit only. Episodes can still be listened to via the site's player, which doesn't use external services, and there's always a link to listen to the podcast directly on Spotify.

4. Content from external servers that do not install cookies

To display some parts of the site, your browser downloads files from third-party servers, which receive your IP address but do not install cookies:

  • the typefaces from Google Fonts and the emojis from WordPress.org;
  • the configurator libraries (Three.js, jsPDF, model-viewer) from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr;
  • images of some products from the servers of Amazon on the Wood You page;
  • the script of Telegram in the pastry board configurator;
  • the client site icons on the Portfolio page, from Google and from the sites themselves.

The social media links in the footer are simply links: they don't load anything until you click them.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

You can change your choices at any time from the button «"Cookie Preferences"» present on every page. You can also block or delete cookies and site data from your browser settings: Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge.

If you clear your site data, the default settings (accessibility, display, music) will return and you will see the banner again.

6. Updates

If we add other analytics or marketing tools, we will update this page and banner before activating them.
